About the Concert
Join the Back Bay Chorale for a once-in-a-generation event marking the culmination of our 50th Anniversary Season. O Fortuna: A Carmina Burana Spectacular, brings Carl Orff’s exhilarating Carmina Burana to life in a bold, multidisciplinary production at Boston Symphony Hall
In an unprecedented collaboration with Boston Conservatory at Berklee, this performance unites the Chorale with the conservatory’s orchestra, choirs, and dance division for a sweeping reimagining of one of the most iconic works in the choral canon. We round out our collaboration by partnering with the Boston Children's Chorus
As we celebrate 50 years of community, musical excellence, and history, this event also paints an ambitious picture of the 50 years to come—a thrilling statement of purpose, vision, and artistic possibility.
We are proud to participate in Mass Cultural Council's Card to Culture program in collaboration with the Department of Transitional Assistance, the Department of Public Health's WIC Nutrition Program, the Massachusetts Health Connector, and hundreds of cultural organizations across Massachusetts by expanding cultural access for low-income and working families.
